Our tour guides and drivers will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi. Departure at 8.00 am to the North. On the way you can enjoy spectacular landscapes. Arrive in Tuyen Quang in time for lunch and a short break.
Continue to Ha Giang through some dramatic mountains. Foggy mountains and intact tranquility has been becalmed for millions of years … Ha Giang is one of the most beautiful travel destinations of Vietnam. Locate in about 300km (6-hour drive) from Hanoi, Ha Giang is the meeting place of 20 ethnic groups with secrets and charm. Arriving in Ha Giang, you will blend into a beautiful landscape of mountainous limestone, green forests and 1,000 medicinal plants, an isolated and intact world.
Arrive in Ha Giang in the late afternoon, check in the hotel to relax after the long journey.

Breakfast in the hotel. Departure to Dong Van through Yen Minh. Before arriving in Yen Minh, stop in Quan Ba to admire the incredible scenes in the area. Also visit some ethnic villages like Yao, Hmong … on the way. From Yen Minh you spend 2-3 hours in a beautiful valley where Giay people live. Continue to Dong Van Plateau. Stop in Pho Cao to visit the Hmong village. In Sa Phin you will visit the palace of the former King Hmong Vuong Chi Sinh, a famous historical site from the colonial era.

You can visit a colorful and typical market in Dong Van (specific dates only). This is an opportunity to see thousands of locals from different minorities wearing traditional costumes buy and sell their local products in this small border town. Then spend a few hours for a walk in surrounding villages. Continue to Meo Vac through famous Ma Pi Leng Pass at an altitude of 2,000m.
Stop for breathtaking views of the valley with terraced fields, karst hills, Hmong stilt houses, Yao and the romantic Nho Que River.
Arrivie in Meo Vac, walk to visit the villages with Chinese-style houses and the villages of the ethnic Lolo.

Breakfast in the hotel. Depending on the time you can see the market Bao Lac, where you can see several ethnic minorities like the Hmong, Lolo, Tay, San Chi. Walk to visit the village of Lolo, a small mountain folk in Vietnam.
Departure to Cao Bang. Arrival in Cao Bang in the late afternoon. Check-in room and free rest.

Breakfast in the hotel. Departure to Ban Gioc Waterfall (2.5 hour drive). On the way visit the cave Nguom Ngao, one of the most beautiful caves in Vietnam. This is the natural museum of stalactites and stalagmites. Continue to Ban Gioc Waterfall, the most famous place in northeastern Vietnam. Waterfall Ban Gioc is impressive during the rainy season (from June to September).
Return to Cao Bang.

Breakfast in the hotel. Drive to Ba Be Lake, the most beautiful lake in northeastern Vietnam. Ba Be Lake is located in the middle of limestone cliffs of the national park Ba Be. This is not only a place for imaginative people, but also for nature lovers. Arrival in Ba Be after approx. 3 hours (130 km).
Arrive in Ba Be at lunchtime. Lunch at a local restaurant or host family. Walk to visit Pac Ngoi village of ethnic Tay. Meet and chat with the locals. Pac Ngoi Village is located on the southern shore of Ba Be Lake and tucked away in lush vegetation at the foot of a limestone cliff. The villagers live from breeding and agriculture.

Transfers: 3 hours by car
Breakfast with host family. Boat trip in the magical surroundings of Ba Be Lake and Nang River. Visit the cave Puong. Further cruise to Dau Dang waterfall. Short break to appreciate the beauty of this small but beautiful waterfall. Lunch with the locals. Continuation of the cruise to the Nang river.
Afternoon: Transfer by private car to Hanoi (250 km). Arrive at your hotel in Hanoi in the late afternoon.
